Do you think everyone is worth knowing?

Why?

1. “The public have an insatiable curiosity to know everything, except what is worth knowing.” Oscar Wilde.

2. “We sometimes encounter people, even perfect strangers, who begin to interest us at first sight, somehow suddenly, all at once, before a word has been spoken.” Dostoevsky.

3. Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's ok though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation.. so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type..

Do you think everyone is worth knowing?
I think everyone has something to offer. It's just not always something good. Some people just show me what I don't want to be. Others show me what I want to become.
Reply:Correction: I loved it! Report It

Reply:Theoretically, yes.

In reality, it can take a lot of time and a fair bit of work before you get to the parts of some people that are unique, or interesting, or comfortable with yourself. If we had infinite time, and infinite patience, everyone would be worth knowing. Since we don't, some filters are useful.

The trick is that it's often not the people who you'd expect to be the most 'worth knowing' that actually are.
Reply:Yeah pple r worth knowing though they may dissappoint its ok to give them a chance
Reply:I can honestly say that I have learned something from every person I've ever known. Sometimes it was good and sometimes it was bad but the important point is that I learned another life lesson. It can take a while to figure out the lesson but those usually are the best lessons.
