Need hairstyle ideas for the mother of the bride...?

My mother has shoulder-length fine, curly hair. We are both at a loss as to how she should have her hair done for my wedding day. Her dress is long, simple elegant satin in periwinkle. It is a strapless dress she is adding straps too. Anyone have pictures or ideas? No insane bridal updos. Completely not our style. Something simple and elegant.

Reply:Try a half-up do, with some strands framing the face a little. Find out who is doing your hair for the day and do a trial run, sometimes it's discounted or free.
Reply:why dont u take ur mother to a hair salon and tell them what u want and let them give u ideas and stuff and pick what u want...u should try to do this before the wedding so u have enough time with the hair dresser to talk and stuff.
Reply:Have her go to a hair stylist, and ask for advice. Most professional hair stylists have cut thousands of heads of hair, and have styled millions. Find someone who is willing to give their professional opinion, and go with them. Stay away from those that say, "How do you want it?" They are the professional, and should be able to give you advice. But, remember to tell your mom that she looks beautiful regardless of how her hair is.
Reply:how about just a classic french twist or a chignon
