Need help from expert gardeners!?

Lets say i have a plant "Rosy periwinkle" which is originated from Madagascar and i would like to plant it at the Amazon Rain Forest. Is it possible? I heard theres a way to fix these if the environments of these arent too far apart, as i know they are both different rain forests. Could Someone give me a hand on this one? Thanks

Heres some other plants which i think they come from Madagascar, are they possible to be planted at the Amazon Rain Forest too?

1. Rosy periwinkle

2. Prunus africana

3. Aglaia leptanth

You can get it to grow in similar conditions; whether that's a good idea is another matter. A plant that is a part of a healthy environment in one location may be an invasive weed in another place. This is it is often true that the natural predator of a plant (or any other species of organism, for that matter) is often out of the picture in the new environment, and that means the non-native plant can spread without opposition. Too much of a good thing, no matter how beautiful, is a problem. Stick to cultivating non-natives in a contained situation, rather than deliberately introducing something into an ecosystem where it might take over for lack of a balancing force in the form of a predator or competative plant.
Reply:Steve,

I agree with they young lady above me. When planting in such a delicate eco system you want to go the endemic route. We have seen this in Natal where similar type exotics have escaped into the nature reserves with devastating consequences... there is no natural predation, the growing conditions are ideal and so they just take over. This is not where it stops these alien plants take over large areas of land causing the endemic plants to die off... they also affect the fauna as the leaves, flowers, berries etc could be poisonous or not on their menu. In some cases we have the another extreme where the local birds prefer the exotic berries and spread them even further afield... a double edged sword.

I wouldn't even entertain the thought of introducing new / exotic species if I were you.
