I just bought a Parakeet and can not think of a name for it. It is the color Periwinkle, so I was thinking about naming it Peri. What's your thoughts?
What should I name my bird?
Peri is good, and winkle is also good.

Reply:I don't know why but the word Parakeet reminds me of the name Rita skeeter from harry potter. So you could name it skeeter or Rita.

I recently 'adopted' a budgie whose name was Sapphire, but he didn't seem to respond to that name...so...since I talk to him alot..."hello pretty bird", "what're you chirping/chittering/singing about bird?".."you're a good bird, aren't you?" etc, etc..so..he has been re-named...Bird! LOL

Reply:I have 3 birds: Kiwi, Coconut, and Pistaccio. Here are some other names: Lady, Baby, Lavendar, Violet, Winkie, Stardust, and Lilly. Hope this helps...i love keets
